USA Today has a great piece on Mad Men's outsize influence:

They pull only 1.5 million viewers (of course, that's probably for their Sunday night run, I'm sure it's higher with all the reruns, the Hulu, the downloads, the on-demand....).
But I know where I'll be Sunday night. SterlingCooper got bought by a British agency, though in agency chronlology account planning isn't due to show up until the late 60s at the earliest.
